Do you use professional equipment?
We use professional Canon digital SLR’s and professional lenses to ensure that the images we shoot are not just creatively shot, but technically executed to a superior standard and able to be enlarged for framing on your wall.
What do you do with bad weather?
As professionals we plan for situations like this and have been able to get fantastic shots regardless of rain, hail or snow. We’re not phased by rain affecting the photos and with us on board neither should you be. As part of our preparations we have a number of smart black umbrellas and portable studio lighting available so we can get a great result from whatever the weather throws at us.
Can we get a copy of the digital negatives?
A disk is included in each package that has the files in high resolution which means you can print and share your photos with your friends and family without further costs.
Are the albums and prints you use good quality?
Most definitely, we use top quality Queensberry albums and professional printing for all our photos and fine art products so you will not be disappointed in the quality.

How do you ensure our digital images are protected on your system?
This is an excellent question to ask and is an issue that clearly separates professional photographers from well meaning amateurs. With the rise digital technology the worst nightmare scenario of losing wedding photos due to computer failure or theft has arisen. We do our absolute best to protect your files utilising advanced RAID technology for hard drives onsite and also backing up to external hard drives stored securely off site.
Would you travel outside of Christchurch for our wedding?
Wedding packages include travel within 50km of Christchurch but we regularly travel for weddings all around the country. For weddings further outside of Christchurch additional costs do apply so please contact us with your details to provide a quote for you.
How long does it take to get our photos back after the wedding?
Part of our superior service includes taking the appropriate care and attention to perfect your photos, which of course takes time. Our usual turnaround time would include a ‘Sneak Peak’ of several photos uploaded to our facebook page within a 2-3 day timeframe, and the final photos ready for you after 4-5 weeks. If you select an album with your package the first draft album will be ready approximately 4 weeks after you select the photos you want in it and from there we will work with you to complete the album design. From the time of completion of the album design there is usually just a 4-6 week delay before your completed album is ready.
